Astronomical evidence
A black hole does not shine from within its event horizon. Heated orbiting gas supplies the light, and strong gravity bends the far side of an accretion disk into arcs above and below the shadow. Orbital motion can make one side brighter. [1] The illustration separates the dark shadow from the wider luminous disk.
The illustrated viewpoint
Ancient dark-lord-like humanoid alien with a horned bone-white skull and black martial robes in low rooted horse stance, hands held calmly together before the lower abdomen. Solid basalt above a broad volcanic plain with distant lava rivers. Vhar, the black hole, its mass, the surface and the warrior are hypothetical. An illustrative nonrotating black hole of one billion solar masses has a Schwarzschild radius of about 19.7 AU; at 50 such radii the shadow diameter is of order six degrees. This motivates a compact shadow inside a broader disk, without assigning the scene to a real system. No full relativistic ray trace, accretion luminosity, atmospheric retention, surface energy balance or biological viability has been solved. Lava does not establish the cause of heating.

All beings and cultures are fictional. Martial forms are artistic poses, not instructional diagrams. Character narratives and teachings remain the author's work.
Fictional planetary viewpoint
No confirmed planet or host star is assigned to this landscape. The named astronomical object or physical phenomenon supplies the scientific reference; the local world and viewing position are invented. This image remains outside the real exoplanet host map.
