Astronomical evidence
HD 106906 b is a directly imaged planetary-mass companion far outside its host binary's debris disk. Hubble astrometry measured its motion and supports a wide, inclined orbit; the observations span only a small fraction of that long orbit. [1,2] The distant host is rendered as two small points. A young giant can retain heat, but this blue, visibly luminous cloud portrait is an invented spectral rendering, not an observed resolved image.
