The Two-Light Terrace

Astronomical evidence

Kepler-38 b is a transiting circumbinary planet: it orbits both members of an eclipsing stellar pair. Its saved catalog period is 105.599 days. Transit geometry constrains the planet's radius and orbit; the saved mass entry is an upper limit, not a measured mass of exactly 122 Earth masses. [1,2] The two visible suns interpret the binary nature of the system. Their rendered separation and angular sizes do not reconstruct a particular date.

The illustrated viewpoint

Bronze humanoid with swept-back cranial ridges in a seated extension with one upright open palm. Copper sandstone cliff sanctuary above a rust-red mesa basin. The foreground belongs to an invented solid moon, not the gas-rich planet itself. No such moon, cliff sanctuary, atmosphere, organism or culture has been detected. The landscape, star colors, apparent stellar sizes and illumination are artistic; no satellite orbit or surface climate has been validated.

The landscape, star colors, apparent stellar sizes and illumination are artistic; no satellite orbit or surface climate has been validated. All warriors and cultures are fictional. Peace and strength are visual themes; no character thoughts, teachings or biological cosmic-energy mechanism are supplied.

Catalog measurements & sources
